Hi! Our names are Matthew and Emily Vernon. We are Athens area locals who are eager to create an immersive escape room experience close to home. Much of our relationship has centered around escape rooms and puzzles alike. The only issue was having to drive all the way towards Atlanta to find a challenge! That's why we created Homeroom.
Now, we can bring the fun of escape rooms to the vibrant city of Athens...and its surrounding cities of course! We hope that Homeroom is able to bring this joy and magic to people of all ages conveniently into your home or office space.

An escape room, also known as an escape game, puzzle room, exit game, or riddle room is a game in which a team of players discover clues, solve puzzles, and accomplish tasks in one or more rooms in order to accomplish a specific goal in a limited amount of time.
We want to bring this fun into your home, office, backyard, and more. We have pre-planned rooms that we personally created along with everything that goes with them. Some rooms require more space than others, so reach out to book a consultation with us!
