How it works

Different Types of Rooms/Puzzles

There are three types or "flows" for escape games. The best one for you depends on the size of the group and age of the people playing.

Linear Rooms

The flow for this type of escape game is fairly simple. Solving one clue will give you the object to solve for the next clue, and so on and so forth until you escape. Puzzles in a linear room must be solved in a particular order.
This type of room is better for smaller groups and younger players. It tends to be less of a challenge, and everyone has to work on one puzzle simultaneously.

Non-Linear Rooms

This type adds a bit of depth to your game. Players will solve 3+ puzzles in order to unlock all of the items required to solve a more complex metapuzzle. Puzzles in this room do not need to be worked on in any particular order.
This type of room is ideal for slightly larger, older groups. It's best for mixed ages who can work together, but also independently.

Semi/Multi-Linear Rooms

This escape game type incorporates aspects of both linear and non-linear game types. You may have to work together on a few puzzles along the way, but there are several in between that need solving!
This type is great for any size group! We'd definitely recommend it if you have a large group so that there's a good amount of team work, but no one gets left out of the fun.

Formats

Our games can be played in a variety of formats. Some games are a combination the two. This is typically dictated by which room is chosen as some rooms will require more of one format than another.
These games involve finding objects, keys, or other hidden items.

Hunt-Based

Written

These games involve reading, cracking codes, and interpreting information.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I need to provide a space? Is there a size requirement?
We ask that you provide the space, we'll provide the game. We'll do our best to work in any size space, but more space to work with is always ideal!
Is there a limit for how many people can play?
We don't have a set limit, but we have to work within the space you provide. We want to make sure your vision becomes a reality, and we'll provide suggestions for games, spaces, and group sizes that we think will fit your needs.
Is there an age minimum/maximum?
No! (Although it would be ideal if they can read) We'll put together an event that can suit the requirements of any group no matter their age!
How long do the events take?
That depends on the size of your group, the age of the group members, and the room you choose. We can alter any room to fit what you're looking for.
